Poppy Bookmark for Remembrance Day


Tools needed: - Card quality paper to print on. If you don’t have card quality paper, you can use poster paper or cereal cardboard.
- Pair of scissors or an exacto knife

This bookmark is approximately 6.8cm x 8.2cm or 2.5″ x 3.25″.

Instruction:
1. Download the pdf file containing the bookmark template. You can choose to print it in color or in black and white on card quality paper . Cut it out, and also cut out the outline in blue as shown in the image.

Alternate instruction:2. If you didn’t have card quality paper, print out the poppy on your regular printer paper. Cut it out and glue it to a stiff poster paper, cereal cardboard or even old card that you have. If there is an image on the cardboard you’re using, you may need to glue a plain sheet of paper in between so the image doesn’t show through. Cut out the poppy, and cut out the blue outline underneath the poppy.

That’s it! Use it in any book you are reading to show that you remember all the sacrifices of the men and women during wartime.
